ABOUT THE ARTIST

Alanna Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican dancer, educator, performer, and cultural artist rooted in the traditions of Puerto Rican Bomba. Through dance, she honors her heritage while creating spaces for cultural connection, self-expression, and community. Originally from Puerto Rico, Alanna has had the opportunity to perform, teach, and collaborate with artists from Puerto Rico, sharing Bomba with diverse communities. Now based in Wisconsin, she continues her artistic journey by bringing Puerto Rican culture and traditions to new communities through dance.
