Sponsored by Wisconsin Conservatory of Music's Samba Da Vida, come spend a day with a master of Afro-Brazilian batucada! Originally from Bahia, Brazil, Marcus Santos teaches at Berklee College of Music in Boston and is the director of the network project, Grooversity, and artistically directs fifteen drumming groups throughout the U.S. and Canada. Join us for this community workshop, free for K-12 students.  Proyecto Bembe students will be learning and advancing our Brazilian Percussion skills.
